Most Needed Items

SPCA SEBERANG PERAI rely solely on Public's contributions to run the shelter. Other than monetary support, we also welcome donors to donate our much needed supplies to help keep our shelter continue running.

We have got a list of all the most needed items listed and you can always check our site to learn about other ways you can help our furry friends.

Rice - the most needed items in our shelter and constantly running on shortage. We need approximately 10 packets of 10kgs rice daily to feed our shelter's furrykids and also the dogs kept imprisoned at the pound.

A packet of rice cost RM17.00. With that small amount, you can help lessen our burden and keep the needy animals away from hunger.

Egg, is another essential item in our shelter. By adding eggs into the food prepared for our furrykids, it has proven to help improve their immune system.

Eggs are a great source of very digestible protein, riboflavin and selenium.

Fresh milk comes handy when young animals are surrender to the shelter without their mother(s).

We also feed our furrykids with kibbles on a daily basis. Our shelter animals are given 2 meals daily. Morning, they will be fed with kibbles and in the afternoon, they will be served with rice. For cats and kittens, they will be given kibbles mixed with can food.

The shelter strives very hard to keep the animals under our care well fed and healthy, thus the support from the Public is very much appreciated to help us continue with our good cause.

If you wish to know more about how you can help us or to make a contribution of the above item(s), drop us a mail at spcaseberangperai@gmail.com and we will get in touch with you soon.

Thank you!

We are seeking permanent, loving homes for the animals in our shelter.

For those who wish to make a contribution to SPCA SEBERANG PERAI may drop off your items at our booth this Sunday. Items that we frequently in need are:

1. Rice (we need approximately 10 packets of rice daily to feed our shelter animals and those at the pound)
2. Eggs (to strengthen the weaker ones' immune system)
3. Fresh Milk (for the young puppies without mom)
4. Kibbles

See you there. Be ready to open your heart and your home.

Remember, buying animals is killing animals. Save a homeless furkid - always adopt and never buy.

Feed The Hungry

SPCA SEBERANG PERAI was formed in September 2005. It is a charitable non-profit organization. We practice non-kill policy and ensure that animals are safe whilst waiting to find a new home. Our kennels are always full with a long list of animals waiting to come in.

Currently, there are around 600 dogs and puppies and 80 cats and kittens in our shelter. It costs a minimum of RM17K every month to keep the shelter running. The main expenditure is on food, medication, spaying, workers' wages and land rental.

SPCA SEBERANG PERAI needs approximately 10 packets of 10kgs rice daily to feed the many hundreds of furrykids at the shelter and also to prepare food for dogs imprisoned at MPSP Dog Pound.

A packet of 10kgs rice cost RM17. For this small amount, you can help keep the needy animals away from hunger.
